Google Earth Engine satellite extraction pipeline

An automated pipeline producing analysis-ready satellite time series for Cameroonian crop regions: monthly NDVI, EVI, NDWI and NDRE indices, together with Sentinel-1 radar indices.

Built in Python on Google Earth Engine with a linked Cloud Storage bucket. The awkward parts were the ones nobody writes about: getting GAUL administrative levels to resolve correctly, filtering Sentinel-1 by orbit direction so that scenes are actually comparable, and closing the pre-2000 NDVI gap through a Landsat 5 to GIMMS fallback chain rather than pretending the gap does not exist.

This pipeline feeds the multi-modal yield prediction study.
